Maybe one of the best things about a grip contest is the post-contest feats of strength challenges.
It can be rare enough finding someone in your area that shares the interest in grip training that you have it can be even more rare that the person is at or near your level and can push you.
However, I know anytime I hold or travel to a contest, I will always get the chance to try new things and challenge myself in ways I have never been before.

Hello DIESELS!
The moment so many of you have written to be about is here.

In October, I will be holding my first Feats of Strength Workshop in Baltimore, MD, along with Mike Rinderle.
This will be held in conjunction with the Grand Opening of my good friend, Dan Cenidozas new facility, Art and Strength.
The Workshop will be entirely Hands-on.

I am going to ignore that today is National Coffee Ice Cream day and focus on it being National Organic Harvest Month. I love the word “harvest.” It reminds me of apple orchards and pumpkin patches. I love purchasing produce from local farmers this time of year. I also love making fun food from apples and pumpkins. I am blessed enough to live by several apple orchards and pumpkin patches that deliver quality organic produce. If you cannot visit a local orchard or farm this time of year make sure to stop by the organic section of your grocery store. You are likely to find an array of beautiful produce grown safely and which chemicals or pesticides.
