Weight Loss Tips That Work

Welcome back and in this post I want to take a look at some weight loss tips that work. By that I mean those sure fire techniques that are guaranteed to result in a reduction in weight for just about anyone who has the ability, desire and commitment to succeed at losing weight.

I suppose that for most people who find themselves in the unenviable position of having to lose weight for health reasons, or similarly for reasons of self image either of which are detrimental to a healthy state of mind, that finding solutions to their weight problems is constantly uppermost in their minds. Unfortunately, stressing about the need to lose weight can actually compound the problem by placing unnecessary pressure on you to succeed which can cause an adverse negative reaction in either stunning then into inaction or worse, causing them to comfort eat to help them deal with the stress, which is obviously counter productive.

So the first weight loss tip for this post is to totally stop stressing about your weight!

That’s right! When you remove your focus on what you have to do, for whatever reason that might be, and place it on the desired outcome, which is you walking around in a slimmer, fitter more toned body and feeling good about it, then you are far more likely to want to do what ever you need to do in order to bring that about. Yes it’s a psychological trick that you are playing on yourself, but it actually works! Try it if you don’t believe me.

Once you get into a positive frame of mind about achieving your desired goal of a great looking body, then you automatically start into action a chain of events that will lead up to that result becoming a reality. Ok, its not magic and it will not happen all by itself. You still have to put inthe necessary work, But the beauty of being positive about something is that you feel like its not really work to make it happen. You’ll actually enjoy doing the things you need to do! And those things are the two basics of health, fitness and maintaining a healthy weight, which are good diet and regular exercise!

Oh, yes it is! Can it get any simpler that this? No it cannot.

Forget all those complicated techniques that cost a fortune and are supposed to make magic happen. There’s no magic and losing weight is all about applying the right set of circumstances to bring about the desired result. Those circumstances basically revolve around eating a sensible diet of good foods that are generally low in saturated fats, processed sugars and artificial additives and high in naturally occurring protein, low GI carbohydrates, high in dietary fiber and contain all the natural nutrients that your body needs for normal functioning.

When your diet is right, then you should combine this with regular exercise that will cause the muscles in your body to work and burn off not just the calories that you consume on a daily basis, but also the stored up fat that you have accumulated over time when you were not watching your health.

That’s about the long and the short of it. Good diet, plenty of exercise and a positive frame of mind and you will lose weight and achieve your desired goal.

Oh, and one last thing. No cheating!
