Best-Tasting High-Fiber Cereals

The Results Might Surprise You

Consumer Reports is at it again, thankfully, and this time they rated high-fiber cereals for their “sensory quality”. I’m sharing the cereals below that had an “excellent” or “very good” sensory rating. Each of these seven top-rated cereals has at least 7 grams of fiber and the amount of sugar ranges from almost none (Shredded Wheat) to 18 grams per serving (Great Value Raisin Brain-the grams of sugar include the raisins).

I’m really excited to see these results because some studies have suggested health benefits to including a high fiber cereal and this is one of those health habits that is relatively do-able for most people.

More to Love Recap: Week Six

On this week’s More to Love, Luke and his four remaining gals, Malissa, Tali, Anna and Mandy, continued to learn more about each other as tensions, jealousies and the competition hit new levels.

He took a tough and almost scrutinizing look at all women peppering them with serious questions about commitment, marriage and children. Tension was high, particularly during the elimination ceremony where Anna was not given her ring back.

With just three women left, Luke surprised his love square with a trip to Hawaii. To

If you looked at a group of kids and had to guess who had the high-cholesterol, you’d probably pick the “big” kids. But, findings in Archives of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine, reveal children with high BMI can actually have normal cholesterol levels, while healthy-weight kids can have high-cholesterol.

7 Steps to Losing Weight For Good

Losing weight for good is a big topic. There will also not be much said about some fairly obvious health issues. If you smoke or have a problem with alcohol or drugs, you probably realize that this isn’t good for you. The same with overeating. Some of the methods here can help you with these issues, but I am not going to go into any detail about subjects that are so extensively covered all over the mainstream media and internet. The same with the advice to exercise. I do refer to exercise in the breathing chapter, but I don’t spell out “get x number of hours of exercise per week.” Exercise is important, but it should be tailored to you as an individual. I don’t
